Luxury contemporary villa in Hyderabad featuring elegant interiors, bespoke furniture, curated artwork, and personalised family spaces.

Living Mosaic

Living Mosaic is a 12,500 sq.ft. villa in Hyderabad designed for a family of five, where every space reflects the personality of its occupants while coming together as one cohesive home. Thoughtfully curated interiors, bespoke furniture, and timeless materials create a contemporary residence that celebrates individuality without compromising harmony.

Living Mosaic is a 12,500 Sq.Ft. villa designed for a family of five - a couple, their two children, and the grandfather. From the beginning, the brief wasn't about following a particular style but about creating a home where every family member could feel represented. While the common spaces needed to bring everyone together, the private spaces were designed to reflect the distinct personalities, interests, and lifestyles of those who would use them.

The clients were deeply involved throughout the journey, making every decision collaboratively. From material selections to travelling to China together to curate furniture, the project became a true partnership between designer and client. That shared trust allowed every space to evolve with intention rather than compromise, resulting in a home that feels both personal and thoughtfully curated.

Although each room carries its own identity, the villa is held together through a restrained material palette, elegant detailing, and a contemporary design language. The son's bedroom embraces boldness with basketball-inspired artwork, a sporty red bed, and dramatic black accents, while the daughter's room introduces softer sophistication through deep blue tones, a cozy reading corner, and a pixelated interpretation of Van Gogh's Starry Night. The master bedroom balances luxury and comfort with a curved bed-back feature, a Fendi bed, and a distinctive striped upholstered footboard that anchors the space.

One of the most memorable spaces is the puja room. While the architecture remains understated, a collection of traditional South Indian Tanjore-style paintings became the defining element, transforming the room into the emotional heart of the home. Throughout the villa, abundant natural light and views of the surrounding greenery enhance the calm, residential character of the interiors.

Living Mosaic reinforced a simple but meaningful lesson: a family home doesn't need every room to look the same. The strongest homes acknowledge individuality, celebrate it, and then weave those differences together into a place that feels connected. Like a mosaic, every piece is unique - but together, they create something far more meaningful than they ever could alone.
